In health we take the responsibility of taking these people to and from the hospital and paying medical bills for them. When the kids and elderly people are sick we take them to the hospital to receive medical care.

We also encoureage hygiene in the community and to kids as well, we involve chiefs and leaders in the community to live health.

We conducts health visits once a month whereby we do medical checkups to kids and elderly. Since the Hospital is very far from Chinkhunda Village we engaged some some nurses and doctors to be conducting Health programs.

In education we have after school classes for both children and elderly. The children meet every Monday and Wednesday for learning and elderly comes every Tuesday. We do this with the help of volunteers who does most of helping in teaching both the children and elderly. This after schoolkji classes has helped the children passing their examinations with good grades in schools they attend. The elderly has also been helped a lot as now they are able to read and write. In additional, we provide parental care to children by checking on their daily studies when they go to school and we take the responsibility of representing the children in schools they attend as their parents.

In addition, we also have a reading program for the children. We introduced this program because many kids were failing to read and write although they were going in government schools. This program has really helped our kids to know how to read and write. In education we are lacking educational materials like; pens, pencils, exercise books, tuition fees, school uniforms and books.

We usually conduct Bible Studies, Bible reading and teaching children how to Pray. The children meet every Friday and the elderly meet every Thursday. The volunteers help in most of activities and usually help to reach each person needs and help them whenever they need help. We also conduct door to door ministering the Word of God.

We encourage communities to be engaging in different types of small scale businesses that can help them in their homes. We do a Bakery business whereby we have a ground oven to produce products for sale. The business has been growing as we sell the products to many people around here. We did this to motivate the communities on how to conduct small scales businesses. We have also Car Washing which is also helping us generate income to run our organization. These small businesses have helped us to pay for medical bills and pay school fees to our Children.

We have also established Chisomo Savings and loans where people are taking loans to start different types of businesses. This has lifted lives of people who have been granted the loan.

In addition to these we also train our kids how to cook, bake, and sew clothes. Currently, we have already trained more than 30 kids how to bake and sew clothes using sewing machines.

We are also embarking on farming to reduce shortage of food at our orphanage and also train the kids how to do farming. We also grow vegetables and maize to support in our feeding program.

Feeding program is one of crucial activity we are doing in reaching these people. We introduced feeding program because most of children were going hungry to school thereby disturbing there learning attention at school. Due to hunger which has strike the communities around here most of people are depending on mangoes and banana tubers as their food. This has resulted in death of people due to hunger and high levels of malnutrition to children do shortage of food in their homes. Some of our children were fainting due to hunger because they were spending days without food. This food challenge affected our programs thus, we introduced feeding program to ease some of the problems we are facing.
