The Children's Health and Inclusive Physical Activity (CHIP) Research Group is housed within the School of Health & Kinesiology and the Physical Activity in Health Promotion Research Group at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Our group is dedicated to inclusive physical activity and health promotion for individuals with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are especially interested in physical activity and health promotion during early childhood (ages 0-8 years) with the goal of setting all children up on the right path for healthy growth and development.
Our team takes pride in conducting high quality research while simultaneously providing local inclusive physical activity opportunities for children in our community. Click below to learn more about our work and how you can get involved.
