Research focus: Semiconductor Manufacturing AI.
Research examines inverse virtual metrology, few-shot adaptation for virtual metrology, and cross-domain time-series forecasting. The goal is to support process-quality estimation and manufacturing decisions when data are limited or operating conditions change.

Research focus: Satellite Collision Avoidance.
Research examines lag-aware orbital-neighbor graphs, conformal risk calibration, and closed-loop conjunction assessment. The goal is to assess collision risk when orbital information is delayed and support satellite avoidance-maneuver planning under mission and operational constraints.
My mentoring approach combines clear milestones with increasing independence. Students develop a problem definition and validation plan, then build ownership of literature review, experiment design, reproducible code, technical writing, and presentations.
I encourage students to connect methodological contributions with a clearly defined engineering problem and evidence that supports their conclusions.
