In the days after the Great Abandonment, devices and electrical systems stopped working, causing rapid erosion of the places where the animal chimeras were confined. While some managed to escape immediately, others waited for days until they ran out of food and water. Quite a few of them were unlucky and were unable to get out of the place at all while others, their instincts to survive began to work and managed to escape from the prison that humans created for them.
This was the great release that caused a lot of chaos. Countless chimeras created from many sources that were scattered throughout the supercontinent were eaten, starved, died an unnatural death or simply could not reproduce, erased from time as if nothing. A terrible fate for abominations created just for fun.
But those who did manage to survive and reproduce are referred to as the "pioneers". The lucky ones who stood against all the odds and managed to bring forth healthy offspring who did not see the horrors of their creation are the ones who settled this abandoned world and shaped the ecosystem of the future - on land, sea, and air.
Their fate in the chaotic period that is more like extinction than anything else known on earth was seized by the humans who came from many extinctions, and now to the chimeras and abominations created by them, sent alone in a wilderness that at least allows them to survive, but left alone, the chaos erases the first part of a history of The life of the planet Chimarion.
A history that should be forgotten.
A passage in the beginning of life here, can only be described as "death, despair and hopelessness".
Many saw their light created just for fun, extinguished before they could even understand what they meant, and many of them never ventured beyond the boundaries of where they were created. But of all those who did manage to escape from their own traps, found themselves in an abandoned and cruel world, left only to kill each other in order to survive and see the next one.
Most of them did not survive this part. Some have simply faded away because they are only experimental, an attempt to play with the delicate nature of DNA and life. Like mules, they could not reproduce. But sparks out of all death. The "pioneers" aimed, managed to return a part that was taken from them. It is true that they could not turn the wheel back and cease to exist, but the interest of survival outweighs the desire to surrender.
When the first chimera was able to breed successfully in the brutal wasteland, life on the planet changed forever.
There are no winners in survival, only the lucky ones who continue to pass the spark of life on

The sad road to freedom
The Great Abandonment is also known as the starting point of the first period: Neovestigia (first steps) is a period that can only be described in a few words: violent, chaotic and hopeful.
The abandonment was sudden, as if they decided to simply fold everything and leave the planet to its own devices and everyone left behind, a cruel fate awaits the abandoned. The true number of those left is unknown, but probably for the better, it is better not to know how many souls were killed before their time only after they were created for... 'fun'.
A joke to those who try to be a god, creatures that shouldn't exist, were simply thrown like fresh garbage into the incinerator, remained in what they were born into, and those who take care of them, maybe it's also better that we don't know what they went through, simply abandoned a job that cost more than it should, but why?
Force? Of money? show off?
What was not there, is already in the past, a fresh sin that grows old with each passing day. Those who did stay, only luck could do its thing.
A few weeks after the place was abandoned, the sources of energy that established the entire process, maintenance and audit already started to show wear. Those who were imprisoned there, 'abominations', have already begun to be at the eternal mercy of themselves.
The first to escape from this prison are the mushrooms and plants, which, compared to the others, were more laxly controlled, and plants are known to spread quickly. Without anything to stifle them in the first steps, they spread like wildfire throughout the world from every prison they were in, but surprisingly only a few managed to survive the initiation phase.
luck? Accurate planning in advance?
The refugees who arrived together with the humans, all the bacteria and eukaryotes and viruses were already there when the plants began to take root on the planet without a complex creature except themselves, they already had a role to play. No one knows how long this project really lasted before the great abandonment, but it probably played a part in the luck of the plants and fungi.
Next in line are the protists, and it's unbelievable how strange they are: the logic behind their formation is probably just for the laughs of someone who knows what they are. pathetic.
But still, few as they are, their resourcefulness has been able to prove itself. Especially the fact that they do not reproduce sexually like the other groups probably contributed to their success.
And last, and the most painful of all, the chimeric animal creatures. May the Chimariom world forgive them for being created, they are the most popular in the genius of their creation. People prefer them over the other groups. And they are the ones who suffered the hardest. A number behind their formation is probably better off sinking into the sands of time while all they wanted to do was survive the horror they went through.
Many were lost, still locked up in prison where they lived all their lives. Others managed to escape by luck or wits, but what awaited them there was just more torture for their existence. They need to survive, but probably among them, even those who managed to survive, a very important element was missing for many - fertility.
Plants and fungi were able to reproduce by asexual or self reproduction, but animals, almost all reproduce sexually. If even the second is missing, they are also doomed to cruel history.
But life manages to pave the way, and those who were blessed with fertility and managed to reproduce, and give birth to fertile offspring themselves, their offspring will already be born where their parents managed to escape to, and with it pass the spark of life on, and they depend on survival and to return the track a second time, like on Earth.
But here from this point, it raises a big question: a created chimera that managed to reproduce and produce a fertile offspring, is it still considered a chimera or a species in its own right?
This is food for thought for you to think about.
After the inferno they went through for a long time, the chimeras came to an uninhabited world, and they called it..
Home.
away from what from the brutal birth of the essence of their existence. But for life as always - the test of time will test them if they really deserve to exist or fade away with their other experiments, which tried to play God.
The planet during this period itself is slowly cooling since the Great Abandonment, and the ice caps have spread more towards the center and caused a drop in the water level and a slight increase in precipitation.
Only time will tell who will survive and who will perish.
