It is a long migration from the supercontinent where many of the chimeras are found that fight against each other, to the northern islands, which are considered to be a refuge for the flying and lonesome who managed to reach it.
Angelic Carrierbird are no exception. They make this migration every season, with their mass migrations in search of food. They prefer small creatures, but one young Angelic Carrierbird got tired on the way and decided to part ways with his flock to find a place to rest. Curiously, he finds himself landing on what looks like a group of small islands, some of which are even smaller than he is.
But in every corner he looked, lives emerged from their holes and from among the shadows they provided.
But what the young Angelic Carrierbird didn't know, that these were "stone reefs" that were close to shore. He landed on the surface of the water near the strange stones and floated to it as he watched his flock continue to fly. His parents will probably look for him, but right now, he can't find anything that can scare him. Just him and other little creatures going about their day-to-day lives until finally, he hears calls from his parents.
He realized that his time was up and spread his four wings before he flew back to his flock on the way to the island where his parents probably wouldn't worry about him running away from them like he just did.
One of the first ecosystems to emerge from the chaotic world after the Great Abandonment. Bacteria and single-celled creatures that inhabited the Chimerian world before the project began, originally Earthlings, are the first creatures to make this planet a new home, and their effects already give the least comfort of the world that is dying in every corner at the beginning of the Neovestigia period.
All over the world, before the coral chimeras began to create reefs themselves, the first appearance that could be a shelter from all troubles was the stromatolite. Without too much external interference from other living creatures and various natural factors, they filled many places where the water was shallow and soon they are already on the rise and not only that, they are used for the pioneer chimeras, those that depend on the sea, an oasis for food, a shelter and a companion's calm. As the waves wash in, bacteria and plankton multiply in and out of the water, small fry find shelter among the stromatolite, and this attracts more chimaeras to feed on the wealth they produce.

In some other places, they began to fill niches that had been hollowed out due to a lack of variety. In this case, in the more tropical places, Neocharnia reef began to fill the sands and bare reefs deeper into the sea, but their beauty hides a danger, that those who are not protected enough, can become entangled and eaten by them.
With little in the way of competition, Neocharnia has quickly managed to establish colonies in shallow to midwater areas. Any soft bodied chimeras like the unfortunate Little Goober in the bottom middle are snagged and stung to death by the venomous nematocysts coating the surface of Neocharnia’s body, nutrients being absorbed into the organism as the body decays through a series of small openings on the frond that lead to a series of internal filtering chambers. More heavily armored chimeras, such as the crabipede are immune to the venomous stings and may find shelter among the fronds.
