研究興趣

My research focuses on three domains, including power, work stress, and cross-cultural organizational behavior. I built the rapport with the scholars across countries and thus conducted research in more than one country, including Taiwan and the U.S. My research has been published in rigorous peer-reviewed journals, including Journal of Vocational Behavior, European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology, Negotiation and Conflict Management Research, and Asian Journal of Social Psychology. I constantly presented my research in famous international academic conferences such as the Academy of Management Conference, Asian Academy of Management Conference, and the International Association for Chinese Management Research Conference. I briefly introduce the research progress as follows.

Power. In this line of research, I focus on three main topics: 1) Why high power lead to negative outcomes (e.g., self-interested behavior); 2) how the early-life-power (ELP) influences the above relationship; 3) what is the antecedent of early-life-power.

Work Stress. My research focuses on the impact of work stressors on employees, particularly how stressors from hybrid work affect their emotions and behaviors .

Culture. My research concerns about cross-cultural differences in people's reactions to interpersonal interaction (e.g., interpersonal offense). Moreover, my research also addresses the potential that different experiences (e.g., early-life-power) cultivated in an individual’s growing environment may affect the following behaviors.
