Know Your Rights: What to do if You Are Arrested or Detained by Immigration
To locate a loved one that has been detained for more than 48 hours, visit the ICE Online Detainee Locator System.

Immigrant Defenders Law Center: Call (213) 833-8283 to assist a relative or community member who has been detained by Immigration Enforcement. Calls will be responded to Monday-Friday from 9am to 4pm.
To find someone who has been detained, access ICE’s online detainee locator at https://locator.ice.gov or call the Southern California field office at (213) 830-7911.
Important things to note
It typically takes 24-48 hours after being detained for someone to show up in this system.
Once on the webpage, you can change the language using the drop down feature.
If you know your loved ones A# - you can use that to search. An A# is alocated on all goverment provided immigration forms or documents that your loved ones may have received.
If you do not know their A#, you can search by biological information such as: First name, last name, country of birth, and date of birth.
