CUE Required Percussion Materials:

Students will need to have the following for their personal stick/mallet collection each year. Links will redirect you to the David French Music site for ease of delivery to school, but these sticks and mallets are also available on sites such as Amazon. Links below are our educator suggestions and linked for convenience. You are not limited to these choices.

All Students need the materials below as well as a 1 Inch, 3 Ring Binder along with a 3 ring pencil pouch inside and at least 2 pencils at all times. If possible we suggest adding 5-10 sheet protectors. Packs of those can be shared amongst friends!

**these will be used all the way through your band experience to organize our music and materials

Combined Bell Kit: Rentals Available Through David French Music

These kits are for at home practice to replicate our equipment from school, and will not need to travel back and forth unless do not have enough equipment for concert performances. Percussion students should bring the items below to their daily lessons and rehearsals.

Ensure it contains the following:

NEW for 25-26: T1 Timpani Mallets

SD 1 Snare Drum Sticks

M133 Mallets for Bells and Xylophone

These materials will be added to when you enter future years of percussion as well to build a full kit of mallets and sticks!

Books:

Books: Standard of Excellence Book 1 for Drums and Mallet Percussion (Red) and Standard of Excellence Book 2 (Blue Book)

Sound Innovations Ensemble Development for Mallet (Yellow) and Snare

Rhythms and Beyond (students have these from last year if they are not new to their instrument)
