Welcome to the Chenery Band Community! Â
Beginning Information/FAQs
🎵 Students will NOT need their instruments for their very first lesson and ensemble classes. We will ensure everyone is in the proper lesson group before we begin distributing instruments and materials.Â
🎵 Students will not need their books for their first couple of lessons as we begin on our instruments, so it is OK if those are on order and awaiting delivery. We WILL hole punch all books so they will fit in your binder! Please see the required supplies on each instrument page for details.Â
🎵 All Rental Instruments and deliveries from David French will be distributed directly to students during class after their first lesson meets.Â
🎵 Students are provided a space to store their instruments during the school day in the band room or Room 143 in the music hallway. Students should NOT store their instruments in their classrooms upstairs. Students will drop instruments off in the morning before school at the music hallway door.Â
🎵 Please review the supply list on your instrument page (buttons above) and ensure your student has everything they need.Â
🎵 Students take part in one mixed group lesson and one ensemble practice a week. Memorize and add them to your calendars so you are prepared to participate with your instrument and music in every class!Â
🎵 Chenery Music T-Shirts for concerts are on sale until the morning of 10/15. Please click the button above to order.Â
🎵 Who do I email if I have a question about 4th grade band?  - Email Ms. ViscardiÂ
