Beginning Information/FAQs:
🎵 Students will NOT need their instruments for their very first ensemble classes. New students will receive any delivered instruments in their lessons and teachers will ensure everyone is in the proper lesson group prior to distributing instruments and materials.Â
🎵 Students should bring all required materials to every lesson. This includes their binder, instrument and pencils. This expectation will exist throughout the year. (Please note - no instruments needed the first day of school!)Â
🎵 Students are provided a space to store their instruments during the school day in the band room. Percussionists need to bring their stick bags with all of their sticks and mallets and will have a group locker for their bags in the band room if they do not want to store them in their lockers. Instruments should NOT be stored in students' classrooms.Â

🎵 Please review the supply list on your instrument page (buttons above) and ensure your student has everything they need throughout the year. Students are responsible for replacing all accessories (reeds, oil etc.) throughout the year.Â
🎵 Students take part in one mixed group lesson and two ensemble practices a week. Memorize your band days and add them to your calendars so you are prepared to participate with your instrument and music in every class!Â

All students wear either their Chenery Music T-Shirt or a Black shirt as well Black pants, shoes and socks when we perform.Â
