Chen Huang, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor
Chen obtained his Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University (Nashville, TN) and completed Postdoc training at Baylor College of Medicine (Houston, TX). Before joining UAB, he was a Insitute Research Investigator at MD Anderson Cancer Center. He has a long term interest in translating big biomedical data into biological and clinical insights.
Araf Mahmud, M.S.
Graduate Student
Araf obtained his BSc and MSc in Biotechnology from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (Sylhet, Bangladesh). He has a broad interest in computational biology and omics data analysis. His current research focus is to develop and apply computational approaches to identify and prioritize potential therapeutic targets from tumor multiomics data.
Sanqi An, Ph.D.
Postdoc Fellow
Sanqi obtained his Ph.D. from Sun Yat-sen University (China) where he led several bioinformatic projects using multiomics data integration. His current research focuses on developing novel computational approaches to understand cancer pathway cascades and identify theraputic opportunities.
