Prepare your puppy for a lifetime at your side! Early puppyhood is a critical time for socialization and learning. Experiences during this time set the stage for the rest of your puppy's life.
The best time to socialize your puppy is between 7-12 weeks of age. Puppy preschool is open to puppies 7-16 weeks of age (older puppies will be considered based on size and temperament - contact us). Puppies over 12 weeks of age are invited to start attending day care.
Puppy Start Right Preschool
Puppy Start Right Preschool launched in April 2024 and received excellent reviews from puppies, owners, and their veterinarians!
This series includes a one-hour orientation (without puppies) and four one-hour puppy socialization classes.

May 15 - June 12
July 10 - August 7
Location is next door at Chelsea Animal Hospital (1513 South Main Street) to help puppies become more comfortable in the veterinary environment.
Puppies between 7 and 16 weeks of age when starting class are invited to attend. They must have started their vaccination series at least 10 days prior to starting class
All household members involved in the daily activity of the puppy are invited to attend.
Cost is $150 and includes:
1 one-hour orientation session (no puppies)
4 one-hour socialization and training classes
a Puppy Start Right handbook ($25 value)
Adaptil collar ($32 value)
Payments accepted include cash, check, or Venmo.
