Expertise: System, Control, and Applications in Power Electronics and Mechatronics
Interests: I am particularly interested in the design, management, and control of a wide range of dynamic systems, especially energy storage systems (e.g., batteries and ultracapacitors), microgrids and smart grids, high-frequency wireless power transfer systems, and electric vehicles. This research contains strong "interdisciplinary" elements, i.e., the synergistic integration of physical systems, sensing, control theory and design, circuits and device implementations, and, increasingly importantly, human behavior, which makes it possible to produce more efficient, intelligent, resilient, and reliable systems.
