Hello! My name is Charly Cooper and I am current 3rd year student at Univeristy of Washington majoring in Marine Biology and minoring in Dance.

I strive to utilize my passion for marine biology towards making science accessible and available for all who want to learn!

I have experience working with aquariums where I gained skills in animal husbandry and science communication through public engagement. I also have had in depth field work experience through study at Friday Harbor Laboratories during Spring 2026 where I gained research, outreach, communication, and data analysis skills. Lastly, as a dance minor, I love to keep an open and creative mindset, allowing me to be flexible and innovative during field work.
