Addams Family Musical

This set was designed for the 2022 Rocky Hill Country Day School High School production of  The Addams Family Musical.

Given the extremely small space and lack of professional lighting equipment, the set needed to be flexible and multipurposed. Gothic elements were used as inspirations as were television, film and comic versions of the well-known comic family.  The pallet for the set was predominantly black, purples and blues. Two feature pieces were the mansion gates, used as symbol for the separation of the "normal" and "abnormal," and the family tree, a 20-foot painted tree secured to the proscenium wall.
