Research Director in Robotics and Autonomous Systems -- Independent Trainer in Robotics and AI

I am Research Director at ONERA in the Department of Information Processing and Systems. I lead the Safe, Embedded and Autonomous Systems (DTIS/SEAS) team located in Toulouse, France. I received my Master degree in Computer Sciences and Aerospace Engineering from ENAC (Ecole National de l'Aviation Civile) and University of Toulouse, France, in 2003. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Sciences from University of Toulouse in 2006. In 2007, I was a research associate at LAAS-CNRS in the robotics group. Since 2008, I have been a research fellow at ONERA, working on robotics and autonomous systems. Since 2018, I have led the SEAS team. In 2019, I received the habilitation degree (HDR) from INP (Institut National Polytechnique), Toulouse, France. Since 2020, I have also a Professor position at ISAE-Supearo.

I am also a member of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (RAS) Technical Committees on Software Development in Robotics (TC-SOFT), and Multi-Robot Systems (TC-MRS), and a member of the French Research Group on Robotics (GdR Robotique). My research interest focus on algorithms and architectures for decision-making in autonomous robots.

Since 2019, I have also been an associated researcher of the AI Toulouse Institute ANITI, as part of Claire Pagetti's chair on CertifAI: towards AI-based applications certification, in which are also participating my colleagues Kevin Delmas, Jérémie Guiochet, and Aurélien Plyer.

Since 2019, I am also an independent trainer in robotics and AI technologies. So I am registered as an independent trainer in the french companies identification system (SIREN) with number 849 423 009.
