Our event is over, but the memories will be with these riders forever. Over 50 of our riders just did their first Iron Butt Ride. Only 6 riders across the three locations dropped out of the ride due to weather concerns. Everyone else finished over 1,000 miles in less than 24 hours. Some rode touring bikes made for this kind of riding. Some rode small bikes, as small as 650 cc's, that were never intended to be comfortable for that long or endure a ride like this... but they did. Big kudos to those rides!!!
We'll update this site with more photos and information on the money earned for Operation Homefront as they come in. Go to the group pages to see more photos.
I have had many riders from this year's event ask about next year's. While IMRG National has said they are not supporting next year's plan, we will still move forward and see that our responses are. An application system is being developed for interested dealership/IMRG teams. Interested groups that qualify will be put in our list as we try to plan the best route(s) for riders. The application process will go out in late October with a late November deadline. Our target dates for the event is May 15/16.
