Positions
Applications for Board Member positions open at the end of each academic semester for a few weeks in December and May. Undergraduate and graduate students of all majors are welcome to appy.
Positions are granted on a semester-long basis with opportunities to extend into year-long commitments based on performance. Availability on weeknights is strongly desired.
Art Board
Art Board
Primary Responsibilities:
Review all art submissions to determine publication in the magazine.
Attend all board meetings and offer creative critiques.
Draft feedback for rejections.
Assist in advertising and fundraising campaigns and attend publicity events.
Assist with marketing projects.
Application Requirements:
Resume or CV & cover letter.
Completion of provided art evaluation practices.
Interview.
Editorial Board
Editorial Board
Primary Responsibilities:
Review all writing submissions to help determine publication in the magazine.
Work one-on-one with contributors to edit accepted pieces.
Draft feedback for rejections, acceptances, or resubmissions.
Proofread each draft of the magazine.
Attend all board meetings.
Assist in advertising and fundraising campaigns and attend publicity events.
Application Requirements:
Resume & cover letter.
Completion of provided proofreading and critiquing practices.
Interview.
