In Bergen its a bi descussion about the Bybane and if it should go over the Bryggen or in a tunnel behind. The tunnel costs much more than making it go over Bryggen, but Bryggen is historical landmark and many dont want to "ruin" it. This discussion has been so heated that the mayor resigned. As you can se at the statistic is pretty evenly split between the two alternattives
