Debbie Schreckengost

Debbie Schreckengost has lived in Arnold her entire life. Her and her two children - Josh & Nessa are proud graduates of Valley High School. Debbie and her husband, Steven enjoy spending time with their eleven grandchildren, all of which are currently or soon-to-be enrolled and actively involved in the school district.

Debbie is a retired employee of the New Kensington-Arnold School District. After dedicating 32 years of service to the district, she retired in 2015. While employed with the district, she worked with the custodial and maintenance departments. Having a job that required interaction with students and teachers in the building, Debbie was able to observe and see the outcome from a lack of resources available to our students.

Transparancy, communication, and accountability are things that Debbie would like to see in our district. She is willing to work together and compromise with other board members to provide a better and more hands-on education for the children in our district. While being fiscally responsible, Debbie would like to help create a safer environment for the students and add resources that our educators can use to benefit and help the students in our district succeed.

Debbie sees the potential in our students and educators and wants to be a part of the change that puts these caring individuals first.
