Submit Your Roster & Insurance Here
By taking just a few minutes to complete the necessary administrative tasks, families in your programs gain access to wonderful opportunities from Jays Care. We invite everyone running Challenger Baseball programs to set aside 15 minutes each year for this important task. Your involvement truly makes a difference, helping us sustain and grow this program!
Together, we can ensure that your league continues to provide vital support from Jays Care to your families throughout the year—such as snowsuits, respite services, scholarships, and more.
Thank you for being a part of this incredible community!
Register your league by providing essential information about your league and its leadership.
Compile key details about your league’s structure, athlete information and insurance.
Assess and report on the outcomes and impact of your league's programming.
In this step, you will provide key information to officially register your league. This includes:
Contact Information: Details for the primary and secondary contacts.
League Information: Name, status (new or returning), type of league, and planned programming details.
Charter Requirements: Projected athlete targets, equipment needs, and child protection/safeguarding confirmations.
League Registration deadline: April 30, 2025.
After successfully registering your league, you will receive an automatic email with a link to order your league's t-shirts and hats. This order must be manually completed by the league coordinator in order to receive t-shirts and hats.
The t-shirt portal is now closed.
During this step, you'll gather and submit important details about your league’s operations, including:
League Details: Contact information, practice location, and schedule.
Roster Information: Number of coaches, buddies, and participants, along with an athlete gender breakdown.
Roster Submission Format: You will receive a roster template spreadsheet. Please submit athlete information in the following format:

If the number of athletes in your program grows after you submit your Insurance and Roster form, you can update your numbers until August 15, 2025 by submitting your spreadsheet to challengerbaseball@bluejays.com.
Attachments: Include the completed roster spreadsheet and proof of insurance for the season.
NOTE: It is mandatory for all Challenger Baseball leagues to carry adequate insurance. If you have any questions regarding insurance, or how to obtain it, please contact: cam.linwood@bluejays.com.
In this final step, you will evaluate and report on your league’s outcomes. You will need to:
League Overview: Provide coordinator details and total hours of programming.
Athlete Demographics: Identify newcomer and diverse athlete participation.
Feedback and Outcomes: Rate resources, gather testimonials, and assess athlete and community impacts.
Impact Report Deadline: September 30, 2025
Upon completion of these three steps, your league will become eligible to receive the Sustainable Program Grant from Jays Care.
What is the Sustainable Program Grant?
Jays Care provides funding to Challenger Baseball Leagues based on a per-athlete amount, which is paid directly to the league and can then be distributed among teams. Our hope is that this money will be spent on uniforms, snacks/refreshments, parties and/or barbecues, and replenishing baseball or adaptive equipment. It is up to you to allocate these funds as you wish, but the goal is to help mitigate your fundraising and sponsorship efforts while enhancing your program’s impact.
You will receive an email after submitting your Impact Report, asking you to confirm the information needed for cheque disbursement, including your league name, care of, mailing address, and the number of athletes listed on your roster this season.
