The Library Ambassadors are 4th and 5th grade students that sign up at the beginning of the school year to help in the library each morning for one week per month. These students help students and teachers return, check-in, check-out, hold, re-shelve, and deliver library books. They also help care for our guinea pig, Peanut, by cleaning her cage and ensuring she has fresh food and water each morning. Finally, they help ensure the library space stays clean and organized so the Chalker students and staff are able to easily access library books and other resources.
**If your 4th or 5th grade student is interested in becoming a Library Ambassador at Chalker, please let them know to keep an eye out for the application announcement on CTLS and our morning news show, Chalker News Network.
