4th and 5th grade students at Chalker are welcome to complete and submit an application to join our daily news program.  

4th grade students can apply to be part of our 4-person crew.  These students work to control the green screen images behind the anchors, videos & advertisements, and mixing the audio and video our students and staff see every morning! When 4th graders are part of the crew, they hold their job for a calendar month.

5th grade students can apply to be part of our 2-person anchors team. These students read and present the important information shared every morning with our Chalker students and staff. When 5th graders are part of our anchor team, they hold their job for one week.

All crew and anchors are asked to report to the library by 7:30 each morning to ensure they are prepared for the days announcements.  We begin announcements at 7:50 each morning!
