Our vision is to inspire a love of reading, creativity, and lifelong learning in every student.

Mission

We strive to provide a welcoming space where students explore books, build research skills, think critically, and discover new ideas through reading, technology, and collaboration. We work to improve and enrich students' academic careers through information education and promote lifelong learning by encouraging natural curiosity in understanding the world around them.

Mrs. Bellamy

Mrs. Bellamy has been the library media specialist at Chalker Elementary since August 2022. She loves helping students find great books, learn new things, and get creative. Whether students are looking for their next favorite story or working on a project, she's there to help students explore, discover, and have fun in the library!

Mrs. Winnie

Mrs. Winnie has been helping take care of the Chalker library since 2019. She loves welcoming students and caring for materials that help benefit the Chalker student community.

Peanut

Peanut is our library guinea pig! She loves accepting fruit and veggie treats from any and all children and adults as well as lending an ear for listening to your favorite stories! She may even smile for the camera.
