a community theatre ministry of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Arlington
✦
On stage, we imagine worlds where people of different backgrounds, body types, ages, and identities live and work together.
Off stage, we imagine an artistic ensemble that is diverse, collaborative, respectful, and welcoming.
✦
On stage, we enact characters, interpretations, and design elements that demonstrate respect for all people, to the best of our developing abilities.
Off stage, we enact the ideals of a beloved community in our practice of building relationships, extending grace and forgiveness, and emphasizing responsibility and accountability.
✦
On stage, we inspire ensemble members and audiences with stories that reflect the seven shared UU values with love at the center, and stories that provide hope, humor, and joy.
Off stage, we inspire company members to be a model - in our performances as well as our offstage behavior- for youth, new ensemble members, and peer companies.
✦
On and offstage, we transform our ideas of who we can be and what we can do, as individuals and as a community.
