Honk! is a musical based on Hans Christian Anderson’s classic story of the Ugly Duckling. The show is a family-friendly musical adventure that celebrates being different, self-discovery, and acceptance, featuring characters like the cygnet Ugly, mother duck Ida, sly and cunning Cat (who is trying its best to eat Ugly), a whole barnyard of ducks and furry animals, and a Goose Squadron. With music by George Stiles and book and lyrics by Anthony Drewe, the show won the 2000 Lawrence Olivier Award for Best New Musical.
