Over the past six years, we have sought to understand the role exercise plays in the management of cystic fibrosis, with a particular focus on the staff employed within the NHS - asking questions such as:

Who are they?

What do they do?

How does their job help patients?

How can we support these staff?

Over the year, we have asked people working in exercise and CF about their roles and responsibilities. This diagram shows how and exercise professional can be intimately involved in all aspects of CF care, and are invaluable members of the multi-disciplinary team. We have presented findings at the European Cystic Fibrosis Conference, and have published findings and opinions in professional and academic journals.
