Introduction

Ancient Mesopotamia was the first ever civilization. It had great kings, inventions, cities, and historic monuments. Called the “land between the rivers”, Mesopotamia was between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers.

Mesopotamia had the first form of writing and math. They also had gods and goddesses, and temples made for them. Mesopotamians also were farmers and created irrigation systems.
