The charge for that event covers lunch at the hotel venue.
The mentoring event is for employees with three years of experience or less. It is a chance from leaders in soil and water districts to gain insights into their careers and experience. This will be a super fun event, please contact Brandy Myers if you did not register for the event, but would like to attend. This event is free.

To book your stay, please call the hotel at (252) 247-5118 and press 0 to speak to the hotel staff. Tell them your dates and that you are in the Soil & Water Training 2024 block.
Also note beautiful Hotel Alice is walking distance from the hotel. Attendees staying at Hotel Alice will also have the ability to park at the DoubleTree during the day for the CET.

Great question! We have a waitlist for the Double Tree room block and prefer that you let us handle your cancelation so that we can move someone from the waitlist into your room. Please forward Cayle Alridge, cayle.aldridge@ncagr.gov, your hotel reservation and he will be in contact with you.

The deadline is August 15, 2024, that is when our discounted room rates of $159.00/night will end. If you need to be put on a waitlist, please contact Cayle Aldridge, cayle.aldridge@ncagr.gov.
Field trip and leadership workshop signups will be sent out about one month prior to the CET. Be on the lookout an email. This gives us a head count for field trip leaders.
Yes! CET has been approved for CEUs through NRCS, official number will be confirmed soon. Also, credits will be offered through EE certification in the amount of 10 CEUs. Additionally, so participants may be able to get credit for Criteria II while attending CET. Information coming soon. All information and forms will be posted on this website post-CET.
