Alexandra is in her final year of Chemical Engineering with a digital minor. This is also her fourth year involved with CESS with past positions as 2nd year rep, VP Events, Internship Rep, and now President. As President, Alexandra hopes to apply her experiences from her degree and provide resources to Chemical Engineering students to make the most out of their time at Schulich. Alexandra is a big believer in school spirit and involvement and hopes to make CESS a helpful tool for all Chemical Engineering students. Outside of school, Alexandra enjoys playing sports, travelling, making digital art, staying active, and watching all sorts of film and television.Â
Rafae is in his final year of Chemical Engineering. His involvement with CESS has come full circle as he was previously an academic commissioner in the 2022-2023 year. Rafae is eager to continue advocating for students, ensuring their voices are heard, and keeping them informed about opportunities on campus. He looks forward to an amazing year filled with learning, growth, and a few fun events along the way. Outside of school, Rafae likes working out, hiking, watching television, and spending time with friends.
Cate is currently in her third year of studying Chemical Engineering, she serves as VP Communications for CESS. This is Cate's third year as a member of CESS, previous positions including as Second Year Representative (2022-2023) and Co-President (2023-2024). She is excited for all that the upcoming year has to offer and believes in fostering a sense of community and support for those in Chemical Engineering. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, painting, and listening to music.
Neah is in her third year of Chemical Engineering with a minor in Economics. This is her second year involved with CESS and is super excited to be taking on the role of VP External for this upcoming year! Neah hopes to help bridge the gap between students and industry through career fairs, job board, conference trips, and more! Outside of school, you will either find Neah working, running, camping, or watching hockey!
Danny is entering his fourth year of Chemical Engineering with a minor in Digital Engineering. This is Dannys second year being on CESS as he was previously an Events Commissioner during the 2022-2023 year. Now Danny is taking on VP Events as he plans to host many fun events to engage students as well as to collaborate with other societes. Outside of school and CESS, Danny is involved with a badminton league and also likes to go camping and golfing!
Owen is currently in his third year of Chemical Engineering and is set to begin his internship soon. Known for his love of spreadsheets and technical problem-solving, Owen enjoys developing models and exploring unique materials and processes. Outside of academics, Owen has a strong interest in nuclear reactors and tabletop roleplaying systems, and he often finds peace through hiking when life in the city gets too overwhelming.
As a third-year Chemical Engineering student with a minor in Energy and Environment, Kaitlyn is excited to take on the role of VP Internal for CESS. This is her second year being involved with CESS and she is looking forward to promoting a strong and tight-knit chemical engineering community through merch and bonding events. Kaitlyn hopes to encourage students to partcipate in all the activities and events CESS has to offer in order to make the most of their undergraduate experience. In her free time, Kaitlyn enjoys going out with friends, shopping, trying new foods, and listening to music!
