Thanks to the efforts of Chavez and others, Hispanics are becoming more recognized and accepted throughout all communities.
Cesar Chavez is extremely signifcant in US history for his efforts in fighting for the rights of hispanic and laborers alike. As he managed to increase the pay of workers and gave them the ability to unionized without being prosecuted. Since most of these of these workers were of Hispanic descent, he helped them to have their voices heard when many felt voiceless. Thus, he directly improved the daily life of a Hispanic by many folds.
