🧭 Florida Apostille Process Explained

Step 1️⃣ – Document Review & Notarization

We carefully review your documents to ensure they meet Florida notarial standards under Florida Statutes Chapter 117.
If notarization is required, we provide mobile or Remote Online Notarization (RON) services using BlueNotary, our approved RON platform.

🔹 Florida Law Note:
Florida notaries may notarize documents for clients located anywhere in the U.S. or internationally through an approved RON platform, as long as the notary is physically located in Florida during the notarization.

Step 2️⃣ – Apostille Preparation & Processing

Once notarized, we prepare your documents for submission to the Florida Department of State (DOS) in Tallahassee.
The DOS verifies the signature and seal of the Florida notary or public official and attaches the Apostille certificate to your document.

We handle all communication, paperwork, and courier delivery to and from the Department of State on your behalf.

Step 3️⃣ – Delivery or Shipment of Completed Apostille

Once the Florida Department of State issues the Apostille, your documents can be:

• Picked up in person 

• Shipped to you via FedEx, USPS Priority, or UPS (with tracking) 

• Delivered by a local courier service if nearby 

🌎 Out-of-State or Federal Apostilles (D.C. Runner)

If your documents were not notarized in Florida or require federal authentication (e.g., FBI background check, U.S. Passport, or federal court document), they must be processed through the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C.

In these cases, we coordinate with a trusted D.C. runner to ensure your documents are properly authenticated.
The D.C. runner handles the hand-delivery and retrieval of your documents from the federal office, and we arrange the final shipment back to you.

⚠️Additional Notes

• Prices include notary stamp(s), document preparation, and administrative labor.

• Prices exclude government rejection/resubmission fees (rare)

• Once transaction is submitted to State or D.C., no refund can be issued

🧾 Payment & Refund Policy 

• Full payment is required before processing begins. 

• Apostille fees are non-refundable once the process has started. 

• If a client cancels after submission, no refunds are issued, as third-party fees (state or courier) are already paid. 

🕐 Processing Time 

• Florida Apostille: Typically, 5–10 business days (standard), 1–3 days (rush) 

Federal Apostille (D.C.): 10–15 business days standard, 3–5 days rush (subject to agency backlog)
