Aaron MacRaighne has worked on developing new applications for detector technology from CERN, mostly detectors from the Medipix detector family, and worked on the development and application of a particle telescope for use in testbeams for the LHCb experiment. This telescope was used to test novel radiation hard detector configurations for LHC upgrades. Also briefly worked on a EUDET telescope for the ATLAS experiment. 11 papers from work on the Medipix and telescope projects (7 as first author). Named author on ~100 LHCb collaboration papers.
