VOICE LESSONS

Mr. Allen is a friendly, experienced voice teacher, singer-songwriter, and performer who is passionate about helping young singers grow in both confidence and skill. He graduated from Texas Christian University (TCU) in Spring 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a minor in Psychology, giving him a strong understanding of both vocal technique and how to connect with students on a personal level. Isaiah tailors every voice lesson to fit the student’s age, goals, and style—whether they’re new to singing or preparing for All-State auditions, musical theater roles, or recording projects.

As a performer, Isaiah has had many exciting opportunities. He released his original single “Abba Father”, which is available on all streaming platforms, and performed standout roles like Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors and a sailor in The Little Mermaid. His performance in Little Shop was chosen to appear at the Texas Thespian Convention, and he even had the rare opportunity to work with actress Janine Turner on her original musical Belva. He is also a 4-year Texas All-State Choir member, earning 1st chair in the Mixed Choir three years in a row. One fun fact: Isaiah was invited to audition and perform with Disney, but turned it down to follow a different path.

Isaiah is also very active in his church community, Apostolic Church Dallas, where he contributes musically and spiritually. His faith deeply informs his sense of compassion, mentorship, and purpose in working with students.

Outside of music, Isaiah enjoys playing volleyball with friends, and he’s currently learning French, Spanish, and Italian to better connect with different cultures and musical styles. His students love that he makes learning fun and inspiring, helping them become not just better vocalists, but more confident and expressive people.

Sarah Bryson holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Texas Christian University and a Master of Music from Kansas State University. 

A Kansas City native, she was a three-year member of the KSMEA All State Choir and has performed in numerous musicals throughout adolescence. She has led choirs to awards and sweepstakes at both the high school and middle school level for six years before moving out of the classroom. During her tenure in the classroom, Mrs. Bryson served in leadership roles on her campuses and has been the music director for school musicals. 

In addition to teaching private voice lessons, Mrs. Bryson serves as the Children’s Music Director at White’s Chapel Methodist Church. 

When not teaching, you can find her singing with the Fort Worth Chorale, watching The Office, and spending time with her husband and two children.

Allison Dempsey earned her Bachelor’s in Music from Texas Woman’s University, where she studied under Dr. Patricia Vigil and Professor Melissa Hall. She is in her second year at Central High School and has loved the opportunity to work with students throughout Keller ISD. Inspired by her own high school voice teacher, Allison is passionate about helping her students grow their confidence as well as their love of music.

As a performer, Allison’s favorite roles include Ms. Gleaton in Carlisle Floyd’s Susannah, Hannah in The Wilde Theatre Company’s My Jo, and Dorabella in TWU’s Opera Scenes production of Così fan tutte.

In her free time, Allison enjoys going to the movies, working on creative projects, and spending time with her husband and their two dogs, Jade and Cooper.

Mrs. Powell is a seasoned performer of many genres, from opera, to musical theater, to cabaret. She has performed in theaters all over North Texas, including Lyric Stage, Casa Manana, Uptown Players, Pegasus Theatre, and Irving MainStage Theatre. Favorite roles include Margaret in The Light in the Piazza, Aldonza in Man of La Mancha, Ilona in She Loves Me, and Kate/Lilli in Kiss Me, Kate. 

She produced, wrote and performed her one-woman show, The Glamorous Life: Parenting in a Pandemic in the 2021 Fort Worth Fringe Festival, and has produced and performed in 2 full seasons of cabaret with La Ti Do DFW. She is also Executive Producer of SheDFW Arts, the newest branch of SheNYC Arts. SheDFW will present their second annual festival, including 3 fully staged productions of new works by women and non-binary writers, in August 2025.

Sarah has over 15 years of experience as a voice instructor and arts educator. With her advanced training in vocal pedagogy and years of experience on stage as a performer, Sarah possesses a unique set of skills to help her students reach their goals. 

She has worked as a Teaching Artist with Broadway Dallas and Casa Mañana Studios. She holds a BA in Music from UNC-Chapel Hill an MM in voice from The New England Conservatory. Most recently, Sarah became a certified RYT-200 yoga teacher, and completed the teacher training program for Meisner in Music ™. She uses both of these tools to help performers connect with their authentic self—and bring

their artistry to a new level—one of play, discovery and self acceptance.

Ms. Audra Scott is an award-winning, multi-disciplinary artist continues the steady ascent of her emerging career. Audra Scott is a Fort Worth–based singer-songwriter, children’s book author, and educator. Audra holds degrees and an artist certificate from Prairie View A&M University, University of Arizona, and Southern Methodist University, all with a concentration in vocal performance.

After college, Audra joined the Munich-based company, New York Harlem Theater, and has been seen throughout Europe with the tour of Porgy & Bess for over ten years. She has been seen in opera houses and theaters such as, but not limited to: Oper Leipzig, Bremen Music Theatre, Kölner Philharmonie, Komische Oper Berlin, Grand Théâtre de Genève, Chassé Theater (Netherlands), Amsterdam RAI, Le Colisée, Opéra de Massey, National Theatre Mannheim, and Toruń, Poland, to name a few. Audra has also been featured in a concert series entitled Christmas Dreams from America, presented throughout Germany. She has been presented in recitals throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area, Houston, Prairie View, Arizona, Minnesota, Utah, Sweetwater, and California. She has trained as a young artist with Amarillo Opera, Utah Festival Opera, and Dallas Opera.

Audra’s career has taken a beautiful turn towards jazz, where she has been able to merge her love for jazz and her classical training to present elegant, heartfelt, soul-stirring arrangements of popular spirituals and jazz standards. She has had the opportunity to perform personal arrangements and songs on many stages including the Denton Jazz Festival and in the jazz series at Sammons Arts Center in Dallas alongside renowned composer and arranger Curtis Bradshaw. She has also been seen at the new Coppell Performing Arts Center in Coppell, Texas, and just finished her second gospel tour in the beautiful country of Spain.

Jason Philip Solís is a distinguished educator and performer with over 15 years of experience in music and performance education. A graduate of Southern Methodist University, Jason began teaching in Irving ISD before serving as Director of Choirs at Crockett Middle School and later teaching at McLean 6th Grade Center in Fort Worth ISD. Beyond the classroom, they have directed a wide range of youth and community theatre productions, fostering creativity and inspiring performers of all ages. They now serve as Creative Director and Educational Director at Newlook Performing Arts Center in Grapevine, where they combine a passion for performance with a dedication to arts education, creating transformative theatrical experiences for students, performers, and the community.
