ABOUT US:
The Central High School Choir Program, known as the Central Singers, holds a tradition of musical excellence and pride that has flourished for two decades. Rooted in a rich history and a strong sense of community, the program provides students with opportunities to grow as musicians, performers, and leaders while representing the values of Central High School.
With multiple choral ensembles-including concert choirs and show choirs-the program serves a wide range of students at every level of musical development. Central Singers are known for their artistry, discipline, and passion for performing.
The CHS choirs consistently earn top ratings at UIL Concert & Sightreading Evaluations and have produced numerous All-State Choir members and 9/10 Honor Choir representatives. The show choirs, VOC and Voltage, have earned recognition at regional and national competitions, captivating audiences with their energy, creativity, and precision.
Beyond performance, the Central Choir Program is dedicated to fostering lifelong skills teamwork, perseverance, and confidence that extend far beyond the stage. Supported by a thriving Booster Club and guided by dedicated directors and voice faculty, Central Singers will continue to honor the legacy of those who came before while building an exciting future.
At its heart, the Central Choir Program embodies its motto: “Bleed Crimson, Sing Gold!”—a reminder of the pride, spirit, and excellence that define every singer who passes through its doors.
