The Central Singers Beginner Tenor/Bass Choir is a non-auditioned ensemble that welcomes of 9th–12th grade students of all backgrounds and experience levels into a supportive, skill-building environment. Members of this ensemble develop their vocal technique, musicianship, and confidence while preparing a wide range of repertoire. For performances, the group combines with the Tenor/Bass Choir of 6th period, showcasing their collective strength on stage. Students in this ensemble perform at all major choir concerts as well as UIL Concert and Sightreading Evaluations, gaining valuable experience and growth through each performance opportunity.
The 2nd period Scarlet Singers is an advanced auditioned ensemble of 9th–12th grade sopranos and altos who demonstrate exceptional musicianship, vocal technique, and dedication to the choral art. The Varsity Treble Choir performs at all major concerts and proudly represents Central High School at UIL Concert and Sightreading Evaluations, consistently upholding a tradition of excellence through artistry and collaboration.
