TEAM 9799

Mission Statement

With the decline in numbers in our program, we hope to raise interest in robotics and technology to the younger and current generation. We hope to start a new era of STEM appreciate amongst our school district to give students more opportunities to explore amazing STEM topics, hoping to push for a girl powered future too.

Since our program is pretty under-looked some of the current members have been trying to reach out to the elementary schools in the district to promote our ROP Robotics and Electronics class in hopes of inspiring and sparking interest in young engineers.

Central High School East Campus offers a career readiness class in Robotics and Electronics where students get to learn how to use V5 equipment, basic electronics, transistors, integrated circuits and helpful job readiness tips.

Currently with Change Up, there are two members that have carried on from last year's Tower Takeover, Cole Petrosian and Naomi Nguyen. 9799A is known to have won regionals in Tulare for a few years in a row so far.

This year's club is all virtual where the current Change Up members help promote VEX Robotics and other technology classes offered at their school to the current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors, in hope of boosting numbers in STEM classes.
