Before the ceremony, the family and/or Funeral Director may prepare PowerPoint slides, music and photo of the deceased
to be placed on the coffin.
Memorabilia
If the deceased had a hobby or talent that resulted in trophies, medals, decorations, exhibitor pieces and so on, these can be
displayed somewhere near the coffin or around the room.
Housekeeping
The Celebrant asks the guests to turn their electronic devices to silent mode and tell them not to take any photos.
Introduction
The Celebrant introduced the subject of the ceremony.
Reading(s)
Verses or poetry that is meaningful to the deceased.
Eulogy
Speech about the life and character of the deceased. This can be delivered by a family member, a friend or the Celebrant.
Tributes by other Guests
To allow several people to say something about the deceased.
Reflection
The Celebrant may read a short poem for the reflection.
Ritual

Committal
