*INTRODUCTION*
The Energy Conversion and Thermal Systems Laboratory is dedicated to developing technologies that enable carbon neutrality by exploring, converting (pyrolysis, gasification), and utilizing (pyrolysis oil combustion, biochar) alternative energy sources such as H2 to replace petroleum and coal fuels. The lab also conducts extensive research in areas such as CO2 capture and CO2 utilization processes. Additionally, we are interested in expanding into various other research areas within thermal fluids(fluidization engineering, etc.).
에너지변환 및 열시스템 연구실은 석유, 석탄 연료를 대체할 에너지원을 탐색, 변환 (열분해, 가스화), 활용(열분해유연소, 탄화물)하여 탄소중립 실현을 가능하게 하는 기술 개발에 힘쓰고 있으며 CO2 포집 또는 CO2 활용 공정 개발 등 폭넓은 연구를 수행하고 있다. 그 외 다양한 열유체 분야 연구에 관심이 있습니다(유동층 공학 등).
