BREATH OF EARTH:
RIDE THE SOUND:
This is an original recording presented with a new video. Gasoline Horse simply emerged—it wasn’t composed piece by piece. I remember it clearly: a late Saturday afternoon, the moment just happened. This music was recorded in one continuous take, without edits or splicing—just a raw, one-go performance.
Except for the new intro (the sound of a superbike engine), there are no sound effects, no AI-generated elements, only post-production. It’s just me, a super simple Kashima MG-010 acoustic guitar adapted for steel strings, Ernie Ball Earthwood 013 strings, Open G tuning, 0.88mm picks, and no amplifier.
I’ve got to brag a little. Ever heard an acoustic guitar sound this heavy? Yeah, I didn’t think so. If you know something that hits harder than this, send me an email and enlighten me. Seriously. I’ll wait.
But fair warning: if you do find something heavier, louder, and more visceral coming out of a wooden box with six strings… I might have to buy you a beer. Until then, I’m pretty confident this thing is about as subtle as a V8 engine in a library.
