Did you perform or compete?

Yes! I started cheering at the age of 5 and continued cheer all the way through the age of 18. I cheered Varsity all 4 years of HS - and won many county and state titles along the way!

What motivates you as a coach to inspire your athletes ?

I absolutely love everything about cheer - coaching Tinys isn’t for everyone but it’s my FAVORITE age group. Seeing everything start to click in their brains and watching them develop throughout the years has always been my favorite part. 

Do you have a favorite quote or coaching philosophy that you would like to share?

“Attitude determines altitude”. Results don’t happen overnight - so be kind to yourself and just have fun. 

How long have you been coaching?

Almost 8 years total - 

• 1 year of sideline cheer at Clarksburg Sports Association 

• 6 years of competitive cheer at Prodigy Allstars

Now on my 1st season at Cheer Extreme DMV!
