This Competition aims at enkindling the thoughts and skills of the participants to come up with detailed cost estimation for the provided CAD plan along with the materials preferred ensuring safety, sustainability and healthier living of the occupants. 

UPDATE* : IT IS  "NOT MANDATORY"  TO SUBMIT ABSTRACT FOR PRELIMINARY REGISTRATION.

Registration will be on open till FEBRUARY 10, 2024  "FEBRUARY 17, 2024".

PROBLEM STATEMENT :

The government of India has come up with a new scheme to build a house in a very affordable way with the utmost facilities that most of the luxurious houses provide, for economically weaker people in rural areas. Propose the ideas and materials that could be preferred along with the detailed cost estimation of the whole structure , so that the government of India can achieve their objective through this scheme. The participants should submit an abstract as an overview of their presentation.

INSTRUCTIONS :

• The number of participants in a team are restricted to 2. 

• Participants are allowed to make changes  in the following sample CAD such as 

1. Changes in orientation of the building.

2. Changes in room size without alteration of given builtup area.

3. Changes in location of rooms.

• The changes done in following CAD diagram should be adhering to NBC Code.

• The participants are allowed to prefer any kind of materials for construction ensuring the safety and comfort of occupants.

• The cost of the materials has to be referred  from “Schedule Of Rates”. 

• Provision of additional Openings and joinaries can be included if needed.

• The participants shall present their presentation within the stipulated time of 7 min and 3 min Q&A.  

CAD Plan :

Evaluation will be done as per the below mentioned criteria.

Participants are asked to submit their Abstract in the google form. The shortlisted students will be contacted through email and are requested to pay registration fee inorder to participate in the live event. 

NOTE:  Registration will be on open till FEBRUARY 10, 2024 "FEBRUARY 17, 2024".

"Certificates will be provided for all participants and winners will be honoured with shields and exciting cash prize"
