Texture is the way something feels to the touch or looks to the eye. Words like rough, silky, shiny, smooth, and dull help writers describe the texture of an object. An artist shows texture to accomplish the same goal. There are two types of texture: tactile (touch) and visual (eye-sight).
Make your own drawings of different textures that you can create. Draw a minimum of 10 types of texture. You can use the examples shown on the chart abouve.
