Register individually but make sure your partner (for any Doubles event) is ready to sign up as well. Your spot is not guaranteed in your event until both partners are registered and paid in full. If your partner does not sign up within 7 days of your registration, you will be placed on a waiting list. When the identified partner registers within 7 days, the team will move from the waitlist back to the active list ONLY if there is a slot available.
IMPORTANT - On your player profile, make sure you have 'receive in game text messages' checked to 'YES' AND Cell Carrier should be selected. This is how you will receive your game notifications and court assignments. Please keep your phone close to you and be aware of getting a TEXT for your next matches and results. Failure to show up to the match will result in a default. Please arrive 30 mins prior to the start of your event.
Tournament payment can be made in e-transfer or by credit card - all details will be shown in registration. Once payment is made you will receive a confirmation within 7 days of payment.
Spots are limited so register early! When the maximum per event is reached based on fully registered/paid teams, others will be added to the waitlist.
COMPLETE REGISTRATION means two things;
your waiver has been agreed to and your registration is paid in full
and your partner needs to be registered, paid in full, and their waiver signed
DUPR - Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating
CDPT 2026 is a DUPR rated tournament. All participants MUST have a DUPR account to participate. The tournament results for Men’s, Women’s and Mixed Doubles will be submitted to DUPR. The results for Scrambles will not be submitted to DUPR.
Please create an account on DUPR, if you don't already have one by downloading the DUPR account or visiting the DUPR website and create an account. https://dashboard.dupr.com/signup
Your DUPR rating at the time of registration must be within the range of the division you choose. If you do not have a DUPR rating, then you can “self-rate” your skills as you set up your profile. Refer to this YouTube video for the ASL description of how to “self-rate”.
DISCLAIMER
Ontario Deaf Pickleball recognizes that DUPR ratings are relatively new. If you have questions about your registration or would like the committee to review your request, please email us at 002cdpt26@gmail.com. Please note that one player on a team may be below the bracket rating, but at least one player must meet the rating for that level.
We understand your DUPR/PBR rating may fluctuate between now and the start of the tournament. Try your best to sign up for the most appropriate skill level.
What to do if your partner and yourself are in two different skill levels and/or two different age groups?
SKILL RATING: A skill level player can play in their own division or in divisions of higher ratings. For example; if there is a team of a 3.5 player and a 4.0 player - the 3.5 player must register with their partner at a 4.0 level. The 4.0 player cannot register with the 3.5 player at a lower division of 3.5 level.
AGE GROUP: A player can play in their age group or in the age group that is younger. For example; if there is a men’s team of a 36 year old player and a 57 year old player. The 57 year old player will need to register with their partner in the 35-54 age group. The 36 year old player cannot register in the 55+ age group.
PLEASE NOTE: The CDPT 2026 Tournament Committee reserves the right to place players in the Skill Group or Age Group as they see fit.
WAIVER FORM
An online waiver will be used for registration. This will be available when you register in www.pickleball.com
