Research Background

 My academic journey has been driven by the pursuit of advanced diagnostic technologies. During my Ph.D., I developed rapid and highly sensitive detection platforms for various disease biomarkers using nucleic acid/nano-engineering. As a postdoctoral researcher, I integrated this foundation with optics, mechanical engineering, and computer science to develop integrated point-of-care testing (POCT) systems for the on-site diagnosis of infectious diseases and cancer.
