The City College of San Jose del Monte (CCSJD) had the honor of hosting an official inspection and monitoring visit from the Professional Regulatory Board for Librarians (PRBFL), led by Hon. Yolanda Granda and Hon. Lourdes David, on April 30, 2025. This visit is part of the Board’s nationwide initiative to ensure quality and compliance in library services across higher education institutions.
During the visit, CCSJD’s library operations were evaluated based on established professional standards. We are proud to share that our College Librarian successfully complied with all evaluation benchmarks, demonstrating CCSJD’s strong commitment to excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement in library services.
The City College of San Jose del Monte (CCSJD) proudly welcomed officials from the Professional Regulatory Board for Librarians (PRBFL) for an official inspection and monitoring visit as part of the Board’s ongoing efforts to uphold quality and compliance in academic library services nationwide.
The visit was spearheaded by Hon. Yolanda Granda and Hon. Lourdes David, esteemed members of the PRBFL. Their presence marked a significant milestone in CCSJD’s pursuit of excellence in library and information services.
During the inspection, the College Librarian successfully met the Board’s evaluation standards — a commendable achievement that reflects CCSJD’s strong commitment to continuous improvement and quality assurance in education support services. The evaluation covered key areas such as library management, resources, staffing, and user-centered service delivery.
The PRBFL officials were warmly received by CCSJD’s top administrators: College President Dr. Roger S. Ambida and Vice President for Administration Ms. Ma. Floresa L. Mendoza. Also present during the visit were the college's dedicated library staff, led by Ms. Rionah Lim-Celis, whose efforts have been pivotal in maintaining responsive and student-focused library operations.
