- Moving around the gym with eyes forward
- Learning High, Medium and Low Level movements and body balances
- Moving and controlling an object
- Chasing and Fleeing
- Tag games to reinforce body control
- Safe tagging with noodles
- Locomotor Movements
- Students will be able to perform the following locomotor movements while maintaining balance by the end of the year: Hopping, Jumping, Running, Sliding, Skipping, galloping
- Underhand Throwing
- Using a low level start
- Stepping with the opposite foot
- Foot/Eye coordination
- Attempts to use inside part of foot when striking ball
- Performs activities in both an individual and partner setting
- Striking
- Striking balloons in an individual setting in a high, medium and low level
- Using multiple body parts to strike object
- Catching
- Being able to understand the 4 step process
- Eye contact
- Hands out
- Squeeze
- Bring object to chest
- Being able to consistently do 2 out of the 4 steps
- Gymnastics
- Tumbling on a cheese mat, using a spring board.
- Individual and partner balance activities
- Balance beam
- Bowling
- Working within a group setting
- Attempting to roll ball from low level position towards pins
