Math

At Chaffee County High School, Math is explored at your own pace, through a combination of strategies. We use Khan Academy to build skills through problem-based learning. Then, we strengthen and connect those skills to real-life applications through 3 Act Math problems and inquiry-based modules. In order to earn a math credit for a specific focus area--Algebra 1, for instance--students must demonstrate mastery of the requisite skills, and demonstrate fluency, problem solving, and communication strategies by completing a 3 Act Math problem independently, and completing a module.
