3 Act Math

3 Act Math is a concept developed by Dan Meyers that focuses on building critical thinking skills by posing a simple question and asking students to formulate the rest of the question themselves. 3 Act Math is inquiry-based, and demands students to identify what is important, and look for information that they need, before simply applying a formula to spit out an answer. Students will choose (and get approved) a 3 Act Math problem to attempt independently that is appropriate to their current progress in their study.
