Santa Cruz County
The Santa Cruz County Environmental Health Division (SCCEHD) Household Well Assistance Program supports income-qualified households with dry or contaminated wells in Santa Cruz County. The program offers guidance on proper well maintenance, well sounding services, water quality testing, bottled and hauled water delivery, and installation of point-of-use treatment systems.
Monterey, San Benito, and southern Santa Clara Counties
The Regional Bottled Water Program for Central Coast Households provides an immediate source of safe drinking water for low-income households that rely on contaminated drinking water wells through a free bottled water delivery service. The program offers reusable 5-gallon bottled waters delivered to your home every two weeks at no cost, and a manual drinking water bottle pump. San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties
The Central Coast Drinking Water Well Testing Program is implementing a pilot project for San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties to provide free replacement drinking water to income-qualified participants with contaminated wells.
Drinking Water for Schools Grant Program
The Drinking Water for Schools Grant Program will provide funding to improve access to, and the quality of drinking water in public K-12 schools.
